ALAN MAY’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The New Orleans Review, Double Room, Willow Springs, E-ratio, Spell, string of small machines, BlazeVOX, DIAGRAM and others. He holds an MFA in creative writing and an MLIS from the University of Alabama. He worked as a librarian for the University of Montevallo, Alabama's public liberal arts university, and for the University of Alabama. He was editor of the online journal Apocryphal Text from 2005 to 2011. He currently lives in Knoxville, TN where he will soon be teaching adjunct in the Information Science Program at the University of Tennessee. His book Dead Letters, a collaboration with the artist Tom Wegrzynowski, was published in 2008.
